Set amongst mature trees and surrounded by the Southern Alps, this beautifully restored local landmark has been transformed into a resort with outdoor swimming pool, tennis and petanque courts. The hotel was 1930's, we love the style very much and the restaurant area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was great size with lovely view and very clean

Set on 26 acres, Amuri Estate Luxury Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi. There is a guest lounge with a fireplace and a large patio offering stunning mountain and river views. This was a highlight of our 3 week journey around the South Island. We would highly recommend going out of your way to stay at Amuri for the quality of the service, the stunning views and the aura of serenity which you cannot help but be taken in by. The cheese platter and wine on arrival was excellent and the kitchen facilities were perfect. Don't even hesitate, book a night (or more!) here and it'll be a highlight for you too.

Cheltenham House offers B&B accommodation with free Wi-Fi in a quiet central location. Hamner Springs Thermal Reserve is only 250 metres from Cheltenham House Bed and Breakfast. Lovely character heritage home just a 5 minute walk to the hot pools. We had one of the cottages, very clean and quiet. Lovely hostess! Wish we had stayed longer.
