Wish we’d had more time to spend in Clyde and surrounding area. We will be back!

Set in Clyde, in a historic building, 24 km from Central Otago District Council, The Tinkers Cottage is an apartment with a garden and barbecue facilities. Location was excellent, right downtown in historic Clyde. Owners’ daughter was lovely, and very helpful with travel advice.

Elaine was a great host from before we arrived until our departure. Weather forecast changed so we asked if we could change our dates and she was able to accommodate us with no fuss. Provided excellent advice on cycle trails and general local knowledge. Accommodation was fantastic and the supplies provided for breakfast were generous and of very good standard.
