The property owners were amazing and made us feel special and truly welcomed. We wish that we booked our stay for another day.

Living in a hotel with such long history is impressive and the room is tidy, clean and quiet. From the room, I can see the sea and mountains. It would be more amazing during summer time. More importantly, the staff are very friendly and helpful. One of the staff she helped me find the iPad I left at the hotel and brought it all the way to Bergen station, which I truly appreciate!!!

Overlooking the Nærøy Valley, this family-run hotel offers 2 in-house resraurants and a panorama lounge. Gudvangen village and the Nærøy Fjord are 15 minutes’ drive away. WiFi is free in public areas.... The view was fantastic - worth paying a little extra for. The breakfast was great and so was the buffet. definitely some of the best food I have had in Norway. The staff were very friendly and helpful, suggesting hikes in the area and telling stories about the history of the area and hotel.

Location was excellent, especially for ski in ski out. As shops are a bit far, it is better to bring in all food that you'll need. The host helped us with navigation to the place by phone while we were driving as google maps mess you up and do not bring you to the location.

It is a vast region with many different ski options, rivers and trails. This lovely classical cabin is tucked away in between two rivers running through its plot. From inside the cabin we overlooked waterfalls and stunning mountain slopes and peaks (1100-1400m). We absolutely loved the setting, friendly staff and hope to return for a proper skiing holiday. 😊🏔

Bridget and her family have been wonderful hosts, also providing delicious breakfast and even dinner on request. Even some toys for our kids :) Very friendly atmosphere where you can meet other travelers and share meals all together. If you like more personal experiences than hotels, don't hesitate. The house is big, the rooms are cozy and the location is conveniently close to Voss and Bergen. Thank you very much, we'll do it again if we come back to Norway!
Lovely location near Voss and a good stop for a road trip around Norway. The hotel had a unique architecture and featured a classy Scandinavian decor. All the rooms had a lake view and was very calm and tranquil. The dinner menu was innovative and showcased the flavors of Norway (loved the fried scallops and pork cheeks with beetroot) and the breakfast was very fresh (we ate so much of the herring in tomato sauce :)

Beautiful views from this quiet, clean and well equipped little cabin in the ski area above Voss. It is someone’s holiday home, which may not suit if you are looking for more of an impersonal “serviced apartment” type experience but was a good stopover for us for a night on our travels toward Bergen.
I came to Voss to Snow Ski and this location is perfect! It is literally right next to the Gondola. It is also right next to the train tracks! The breakfast was 5 Star! Nice room and comfortable bed. If you are coming to Voss to ski this is definitely the perfect hotel. I will stay here again.
It is out of season so Voss was very quiet, which we didn’t mind as we got to enjoy the area. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The beds are the most comfortable we’ve had in a long time!! Free team coffee in the lobby. Stunning views of the fjords.
The location is great, pretty close to the main road from Flam to Voss. The views are absolutely stunning!!!. The (family room) is spacious and very nice (looking better than at Internet pictures...).The dinner was good.
good location right in the town of Voss, east to walk to the places in the center. also right along the waterfront, east access to train station. the breakfast buffet was quite nice and extensive with choices.
