The ambience, music, smell, decoration of the entire place were all so perfectly curated to match a gentle chill out vibe with an amazing view of snowy mountains and fjord. Dinner was simple healthy dishes cooked Norwegian style and breakfast was a tasteful healthy buffet. This is honestly a true wellness retreat for body and soul. And here I haven’t even mentioned the Jacuzzi under the stars! To top it off we witnessed the spectacular display of northern lights - all within the comfort of our bedroom!

Located on the waterfront, this property is situated in Ersfjordbotn in the Troms Region. Tromsø city centre is 21 km away. I didn't expect that the apartment that I rent was that big. It is excellent and it face directly to the sea (west). The place is not totally isolated, there are some houses nearby. Still, you will need a car. The bed is okay, just the top bunk bed is squeaky. Other facility is also work like brand new. If you have the intention to catch the aurora, it will not be as easy as going out to your balcony and saw one. In most of the time, you will need to go to a slightly remote area. The balcony facing west when normally aurora spread from north to south. You can walk a bit in the neighbourhood but behind the apartment, there's a hill that will block the way. Again, it might not always happened likat what I describe. You must have your car and hunt the aurora to a dark area where there is no light. And, if you stay here, we are only talking about 2 to 10 Km away to find such location.

The location is within a 5-minute walking distance from Stroleva Skistadion and a beautiful hike to Rødtinden mountain. If you like spending your time actively, it's a perfect place. The apartment was waiting for us with a key in the door so we could enter it whenever we wanted. The kitchen was fully equipped, including basic seasoning, olive oil, tea, baking paper, and plastic bags. The host was very responsive whenever we needed something.

There was everything we needed - washing machine, dishwasher, kettle et cetera. Close to the airport and city centre. Owners are nice and take care of guests.
