The decoration of the hotel has historical pictures and furniture, very stylish. Dinner and breakfast are good. It's a little bit of drive from the main road. If you have a car, no problem.

Putten Setter is located at "the top" of mountains and you will experience amazing views from nearby hills. Cottage is overall clean, nice and equipped (however some older kitchen equipment could be maybe replaced). But, I really recommend this place and would like to come back some day.

The breakfast and hotel restaurant was amazing. My favorite breakfast on the trip and an excellent dinner for a decent price (compared to other Norway restaurants price wise).

Vålåsjø
Loved the overall appearance and vibe of the hall. Super clean, modern room with deck area to sit and enjoy the views. Despite being road facing it was quiet due to double glazing. Hosts were friendly and informative. Nice breakfast and good cakes served in the cafe. Booked a musk ox safari which was excellent. Booking through the hotel guarantees a small group as the guide only works with Dovregrubbens Hall.
A hotel beautifully locate in the hillside of Dovre with a small stream flowing through the property. Very nice people. No parking problems. Excellent a al carte dinner with large portions. Good Norwegian breakfast. All together, to a good price. Recommended.

Lovely, would stay again. Adorable retro cabin. Very comfortable and bright. Lovely lady owner. Beautiful location with big lawn right on the river. We didn't get charged extra for our dogs and had a lovely space to exercise them. Would liked to have stayed longer!
We actually did not stay in this place as we were moved to another in the same chain (low season and they close some facilities), but I believe they are all similar. really nice staff did a custom dinner just for us (specially for us bought fish), very cozy hall to sit in with fireplace and AMAZING hiking around. also they have a dog living in which for us was a plus.

If you want to walk in the park it's the perfect location. You are really at the gate of Rondane. We asked and got a change to a room with a balcony. The view at the lake and mountains (with still some snow on it) was fabulous. It's a very calm place. We loved it!
Exceptionally familiary atmosphere, equipped with everything, clean. We spent 3 days in a ‘small cabin’ what is a nice small wooden house equiped w. electric hot plate, fridge, kettle, TV, heating panel.
Simple and clean accommodations - we were able to settle in - loved the views in the morning of the mountains.
