If you found this place don’t doubt and go because it is absolutely a gem! The views from your room at the national park and wetland are beautiful! Many birds and buffalo’s right in front. They arranged a great fresh tasty lunch when we arrived. A lovely afternoon safari with a great guide/driver very respectful for nature and knowledgeable about animals and speaks good english. The park is amazing!! Small but so beautiful and full of animals. No Leopard but also no other tourists! You are truly alone with the elephants, buffalos, monkeys and thousands of birds. And to finish it off we got another amazing dinner. The family is absolutely lovely, great conversations we only stayed one night but would really recommend to stay at least 2!

I haven't been to Hambantota actually but visited Bundala National Park and stayed in Lagoon Inn and a safary, a sightseeing tour to Tissa and all meals were arranged there. I liked the experience very much. The full day safary was just great, I saw lots of birds and monkeys as well as other anomals. And I especially liked the scenary of the national park. Although the area is rather small, the variety of different landscapes is amazing - bushes, lakes, seacoasts. And we didn't meet any other jeeps!!! I especially recommend Bundala to those looking for solitude and scenic places.
We really enjoyed Bundala National Park and taking photos in the fish market in the village.
It's nice comfortable budget hotel to stay. They packed the breakfast for me as I went out early morning. location is very convenient to Bundala National park. Very beautiful view from the roof top terrace. Lots of birds around the hotel. Mr. Premasiri is very kind and polite. He is very punctual and hard working to make guests comfortable stay. Great Sri Lankan food.
the owners were the kindest people we have met in Sri Lanka. The views from the top floor room were absolutely fantastic, straight over bundala national park. The room is rustic but comfortable, if you are bird and animal lovers as we are you will love it. The view is mesmerising!

Location is close to Yala and Bundala national parks. Customer service is good with many personal touch. Clean and tidy everywhere. Enjoyable food selections for half board.
