Located between two national parks we joined the recommended safari at Yala national park that exceeded our expectations .we observed a leopard,saw Elephants,crocodiles,water buffaloes,4 species of monkeys a variety of colorful birds and other little animals..!!!
We could not expect more!!! A lifetime experience we will never forget-and recommend without doubt

Housed in a building dating from 2023, this guest house is 21 km from Bundala Bird Sanctuary and 31 km from Situlpawwa. The guest house offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Everything. Staff excellent. Food superb. Facilities great, and the room everything I wanted.
Bundala Levagamgoda
Jungle Cabin, a property with a garden and a terrace, is located in Bundala Levagamgoda, 11 km from Bundala Bird Sanctuary, 19 km from Tissa Wewa, as well as 38 km from Situlpawwa. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Tissamaharama Raja Maha Vihara is 14 km away and Kirinda Temple is 15 km from the guest house. We didn't sleep at the cabin because there was a problem with the booking but the host did everything to organise a place to sleep. We had 2 wonderful safaris on a motorbike and Danushka was an amazing guide with a lot knowledge. We could take a look at the cabin and it was a wonderful place with great view and a pond nearby.

Very new build hostel, beds are comfy, AC modern and quiet, WiFi very good, bathroom in top condition, great looking big pool, remote area, stuff is very friendly and helpful, delicious dinner.
A great location, close to Bundalla National Park. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. Lagoon Inn has a very relaxed vibe, and the hosts, Kamal and his wife, are beautiful people and very helpful when it comes to tips about the area, transport, etc. Kamal organised our safari and it was fantastic. It was very relaxing and it felt like we had the park to ourselves, unlike the larger, better known parks. We saw plenty of monkeys, elephants, birdlife, crocodiles and even deer, although only briefly.
Quiet, spacious shady balcony outside the rooms and a lookout platform that is great for birdwatching and sunsets. Hosts welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable, especially on the birdlife having worked as a guide at Bundala National Park. The accommodation which included air conditioning was great too. The location is ideal being within walking distance to Bundala National Park. The safari they organised was fantastic (they own the jeep) were a good price and professional. .
The garden , the pool, the sense of peace and especially the hosts.Shaluka the host full of energy and enthusiasm . His home cooked curries were the best we have ever had . Just amazing and we at home have curry four times a week .Wonderful food great host so helpful . Trust him he’s good and genuine .
There is only one room, so you get all the attention from the host. He is a super friendly guy, who fulfills all your wishes. Breakfast and dinner are amazing and more than you can eat 😋 The beach is just a few steps away. It's absolutely beautiful and pieceful. We had a great time there. We do highly recommend this quiet place. And we also recommend going on Safari to Yala with the host's friend.
it was perfectly clean and Spacious little house just for us! it was very quiet at night. The host were ADORABLE. they packed our lunch and breakfast, they were very attentive to anything we needed. they have a beautiful swimming pool in the middle. Amazing place to stay if you are going to do the Safari or visit yala!
The hosts were the nicest people we had stayed with in Sri Lanka, they were so helpful with arranging our safari and for a good price- they even let us borrow their binoculars! We ended up eating all of our meals there and it was delicious, good portion sizes. The room was also very clean and it's in a nice quiet location, ideal after the busy safari.
