Food was fantastic, the onsen with Mt. Fuji views was incredible, 5 min walking from the roadway station, staff super friendly, perfect for relax.

Our rooms were amazing and the beds were really comfortable. The room size wasn't too small either. We had 3 people per room, and we were able to still open our luggages comfortably. The public bath was great, definitely helped cure the fatigue that came from a lot of walking. The staff was very nice and assisted us with every question and requests we had! The hotel was also surrounded by a lot of convenience stores (Seven Eleven, Lawson and Family Mart) so take your pick!

We loved our room! It was larger than we had expected, the beds were super comfy, and the hot spring bath on the deck was a perfect choice for us. Also, the hotel also has a bus stop directly in front of their parking lot so it made getting around easy.

There was everything that I loved about this place and the room which faced the river was so breathtaking, I can not thank the hotel enough for giving us a riverview room. The staff were amazing and my Japanese was so poor their english was awesome. We had three people in the room and it had plenty of space to move around in. The location is right at the JR Sakuragicho station and only one stop from Yokohama which bascially can take you to all the go to places in Tokyo and surrounds. I loved this particular location as it was also much quieter than the others, and lots of places to eat, the coin laundry was not too far to walk, and everything was so super relaxing at this hotel. A huge thanks again.
We had the tatami room. It was a great ryokan experience. The apartment was very spacious with separate bed room and living room. Bathroom and toilet were also comfortable and spacious. Decoration of the room was also great. Service we received at the reception was above world-class. Avalability of all kinds of baby equipments, i.e. bathtub, chair, clothes, shampoos, etc., at the reception was a great surprise. Breakfast was also plenty and of good quality. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a great ryokan experience at affordable price.
Gora Kadan impresses with its luxurious atmosphere, impeccable service, and serene surroundings. The traditional Japanese Onsen, coupled with attentive staff and exquisite dining options, make it a top-notch choice for a truly indulgent experience.
The kaiseki meals were amazing. The garden view from the restaurant was unforgettable. The private baths were so beautiful and an incredible experience. The room was cool and the bath in the room was nice as well.
Stunning views from reception and dining area. The rooms are beautifully presented - we had a private bathtub on the deck. 2 min walk to lake Ashi / cable cars and sightseeing cruise. Plenty of parking if you drive.
Place was clean, staff was friendly and the rooms was really good for the price. I recommend place and next time I am in Kawasaki I will go here again!
