Takako-San is the Hostess with the Mostest! She is very friendly and helpful. It is an older property that is kept impeccably clean. Takako provides a delicious little snack each day. We looked forward to seeing what it would be each day. The onsen was hot and refreshing. The location was amazing - walkable to the base of the mountain AND a shuttle bus stop was nearby if you prefer. The whole experience at Hakuba Ski Kan shaped our feelings about Japan…AMAZING.

Great location, super comfy beds and spacious. We were a group of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids) and it was the perfect size, plus handy to have 3 bathrooms for the number of people staying in the apartment. Stephen & his wife were helpful with booking restaurants, giving us advice about Hakuba ski resorts and arranging our luggage transfer to Tokyo. We joined in the pizza night at their Lodge which was really nice and looked to also be a lovely place to stay.

Staying at Hakuba Ski Condos worked extremely well for us. Short stay of only 3 nights so to be near the bus terminal was extremely handy. Access to Happo or Echoland on the shuttle was easy too. Bob was very accommodating, helpful. & prompt with correspondence. The apartment size was very generous with full kitchen & laundry facilities .

The apartment was sizeable and comfortable, a wonderful choice for a family of four. The location is excellent, just a 5-minutes walk to the pick-up and drop-off point for anyone wanting to take the shuttle from other Hakuba ski resorts. Soulza was immensely friendly and helpful and made our week-long ski vacation an exceptional one.

The Bohemians’ Shelter is the best hostel in Hakuba. The facilities are new and clean. Gaspard is an amazing host that will help you to enjoy Hakuba ski resort. Free schedules on morning and evening are really convenient. Breakfast is included and dinner can be can prepared also. The beer on top is also a plus !

what’s not to like! gorgeous property, roomy lodging. the onsen’s are amazing. the free snacks after skiing, the free wine in the evening, the dinner at the restaurant was heavenly. we were so spoiled! it was amazing being able to rent skis from the property. and the shuttle service was amazing. we hardly had to think of a thing! wish we could go back right now. also, we don’t have kids but we were so impressed with how they accommodate for families - kids utensils at breakfast, video games in the hang out area, even a kids toilet seat in the bathrooms!

The hotel has ski town charm - it is ageing but in a very classic way. I really enjoyed the pieces of ski & hotel history that were displayed around the public areas. The staff were very friendly with great English - a hotel shuttle is scheduled frequently throughout the day to take you around the town. It is very close to a ski lift so walking is the way to go for the resort. Other neighboring resorts can be reached by a shuttle that stops outside the hotel. Very handy to have a great ski hire shop next to the hotel too! The hotel had great quirks; We kept picking up the free origami that was left around the hotel (noted as free for guests to take!). Instead of room cleaning, you could choose to get coupons for junk food at reception - Chocolate & chips tempted us most days instead of the cleaning! The Onsen is special - one is outside, landscaped with rocks & the sound of running waterfall style water was very soothing. Made it a very Japanese style of ski resort, loved it. The rooms are very comfortable & spacious by Japanese standards. The bathroom in ours was small, but same as other hotels & I preferred to use the Onsen for showering anyway. The lobby areas are spacious & plenty of couches by the fire to sit all day if you’re not a skier. The breakfast had great options & we enjoyed it. The hours are more limited than standard hotels so double check to be aware. We didn’t want to miss out! Recommend the day your to Nagano with the snow monkeys too. The hotel is superb - cosy classic ski feel. I usually go for modern hotels but so glad we chose this one - so much character!

Great ryokan! Nice breakfast and room condition, and especially onsen is the best. We were only guests in our stay, so they provide private onsen. It was very special experience.

Best place we stayed ever. Rooms are spacious and amazing mountain view. Loved the breakfast and the venue.

The best ski-in ski-out hotel in Cortina area. Staff are extremely helpful particularly the front desk team both day and night shift. There are Chinese speaking staff to assist us too and special thanks to Miss榎林.

Hotel is very clean and smells great everywhere. No obvious sign of wear and tear even though it is supposed to be an old hotel. Stay is better than expected. Front desk is helpful and friendly. Breakfast spread is good.

Location was perfect. 400metres to the gondola. Was quiet, restaurants nearby. Has all the facilities required.

Excellent services including friendly staff, private family onsen facility, delicious French breakfast and dinner included in the half-board arrangement. Free shuttle bus service by nearby Hakuba ski resort area. Highly recommended and good value for money. May visit again next time for ski trip.

Location was great. Walking distance to Echoland for restaurants, 3 minute walk to the shuttle to the ski hills! Great private onsen. Kazz (host) was very helpful as well!

Both Yoshi and his wife were super kind, room was spacious with a private toilet, bed was comfy and everything was impeccable. We made reservation for the outside bath at 7am, it was wonderful! Had breakfast after and left to Iwatake after checking out. Yoshi took us in his car, thank you so much!!

Chalet was nice and spacious, close to the lift, 10 minutes walk to Hakuba village center. Needs to be more cleaned in the corners, under beds and in the upper beams of the house. The rest was perfect! Thank you so much 😌🙏🏽 ARIGATÔ GOZAIMASU ✨
