Family-run hotel, well managed and in good conditions, recently renovated. Great location, too: lots of tracks and bike routes just at the steps of the hotel, which is at the end of the village, among pines and close to a nice stream of water. The restaurant serves tasty, typical Valtellina's and Italian food too, so if you're not planning to go around in the evening, I'd suggest booking the half board at your arrival for a very reasonable fee.

New apartment with fantastic beds and nice bathroom. Good location to discover the Valtellina valley, with good walking and cycling opportunities in the area. The apartments are built on top of Walter Menegola's wine cellar and tasting room, in the middle of the vineyards where their fine wines come from. Breakfast is served in Walter's restaurant across the road, where you can also enjoy a delicious meal in the evening.
la Svolta is in the middle of several trails in Valtellina and the landscape visible from the hotel it’s astonishing. The hotel is not too far from Chiuro, so it’s easy to commute either by car; on foot or even by train. The restaurant it’s remarkable: others in the nearby are pretty comparable, so there’s no needs to look for something else. The staff is available; professional and easygoing.
Very friendly staff making sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. Very nice room with a magnificent view of the mountains. Nice terrace in front of the hotel, also possible to eat at restaurant Bögia (owned by the hotel). Would highly recommend to try the local specialty Pizzoccheri della Valtellina!

Great location in a Valtellina village with accessible well-marked mountain walking trails. Great-value hotel restaurant with local specialties and some high-end Valtellina wines at only modest mark-up over cantina prices. Generous breakfast included in the room price.
Staff members were always helpful! Our meals in the hotel restaurant were excellent and the som had extensive knowledge of the Valtellina wines. He gave us good recommendations to try with dinner and for our tour of the area.

We stayed only one night on the way to Valtellina. The host provided very clear instruction on how to get there and collect the keys. Big apartment in line with expectations.

I want to recommend this hotel to you. This is something completely different. It's just incredible. Everything is super clean and cozy. But there is one problem. It is necessary to expand the evening Menu in the Restaurant. Breakfast is perfect. Thank you very much. I will definitely come back.

This hotel is run by a family which makes you feel at home as soon as you enter. We just stayed one night but it was a very memorable experience because of the outstanding and friendly service by Raoul and his family. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant that offers local dishes cooked to perfection. The rooms are very clean and modern. We will definitely come back and can highly recommend this hotel
