Hotel le Rocce - Agerola, Amalfi Coast 4 stars

Hotel in Agerola

Situated in Agerola, 2.6 km from Fjord of Furore Beach, Hotel le Rocce - Agerola, Amalfi Coast features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Excellent stay with really friendly staff. We stayed in the room with an amazing balcony which was breathtaking. Breakfast and lunch were delicious and served on an outdoor terrace with a great view. Although the hotel is up in the hills, the bus stops right outside and there is a little village you can walk to in 5 mins with lots of cafes and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here.

Villa Bossa

Hotel in Amalfi

Set in Amalfi, Villa Bossa offers beachfront accommodation 150 metres from Castiglione Beach and offers various facilities, such as a bar, a shared lounge and a garden. A brilliant location, gorgeous terraces and so fantastic for exploring the area. We especially loved the beach club five minutes' walk away, Lido di Ravello. Manager Dino is a brilliant communicator with great suggestions and he knows the coast like the back of his hand. Knowing the cost of rooms with views on the coast, Villa Bossa is a sensation, plus it has generous car parking which is a miracle for the area. We can't wait to stay again. A home away from home.

FAQs about hotels in Amalfi Coast

A Feast For the Eyes

Comprised of brightly coloured villages cascading down sheer cliffs, the Amalfi Coast is on the opposite side of a peninsula from Sorrento. Between the UNESCO World Heritage-listed villages are lemon groves and winding roads hugging the coastline that are definitely not for the nervous driver!

In wonderful Positano, delicately positioned houses somehow manage to cling to the cliffs. The next village along is Praiano, on a flatter piece of land and with a 12th-century church. Furore in the hills above a fjord has its own winery.

Amalfi itself is picturesque, as it rises from the harbour to the top of its 13th-century cathedral. As the coast’s largest town, it has a good selection of bars, restaurants and accommodation. Adjoining it is Atrani, a fishing village with a dramatic, beachside road supported by arches.

High above is Ravello whose Villa Rufolo’s landscaped gardens offer magnificent panoramas of the coastline below. Due to its position, this town boasts the Amalfi Coast hotels with the best views and, of course, prices to match. Back at sea level Minori and Maiori have the longest beaches.

Due of all this splendor, you might struggle to find cheap Amalfi Coast hotels, but there is also a selection of affordable apartments and B&Bs on Booking.com, and in any case the fantastic views makes the price well worth it.
