The place is basic, bed and rudimentary bathroom, but the location, the host and the activities made our days here the best part of our trip!! And his wife makes delicious meals too :) I have no words to describe everything we experienced here but I will try… If you can’t travel with the local boat, for an extra price, Jeki (the host and guide) can come pick you up and drop you off. Also for an extra, he will take you on an amazing day of activities. Worth it!!! We started by going to Padar Island which had tourists but was beautiful. The rest of the trip we were alone. Jeki spotted manta fish and we swan with 17 of them!! Pink beach and Makassar point also stunning and had them all for ourselves. Finally we went to look for komodos. We say eight of them right behind the village! Since we had time we also walked around the village and got to meet families and play football with the boys. We would have stayed for days!!

He is expert and knows every good spot for Komodo and manta rei. Trust him to make you the best schedule for Komodo islands. His wife made as perfect breakfast lunch and dinners. Menjaga Bay features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Labuan Bajo. The accommodation provides free shuttle service and room service for guests. We had the most amazing stay at Menjaga Bay. The villas are gorgeous, honestly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The pool and restaurant area is stunning, the walkway to the bar at the end of the pier is really cool and we had a delicious cocktail whilst watching the sunset. We loved our ocean room. Would 100% recommend if travelling to Labuan Bajo and would love to return one day!

Amazing private island hotel with beautiful beaches, very kind staff and lots of relaxation moments!! The rooms are spacious, v clean with comfortable beds. There is a restaurant that offers breakfast/lunch/dinner + snacks. We preferred the Indonesian dishes. The hotel provides snorkelling gear. There’s plenty of things to see around the hotel. The hotel also helped organising a boat day-trip to discover Komodo (highly recommended) as well as a little birthday celebration for my girlfriend. Transfer from & to the airport was also very smooth.

Staff are lovely, room was huge and spotless, very comfy bed, nice and quiet. Breakfast was big and delicious. Such a nice sanctuary from busy Labuan Bajo, I'd highly recommend.

Situated on a private area of Pede Beach, Luwansa Beach Hotel houses an outdoor pool with sun loungers and accommodation with sea views. It also provides a complimentary airport transfer service. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Best of all is the excellent help. They were helpful and always happy. The beach was very nice to look at! Would love to come again!
