This apartment was warm and welcoming, and so was our lovely host. It was the perfect place to spend a few days and explore the incredible Plitvice Lakes National Park. Only a fifteen minute drive from Entrance 1 to the park. Parking at the rear of the apartment was easy and convenient. Can’t speak highly enough of our host, she was terrific. The apartment was very clean. A cosy place to sleep after a day of hiking. There is a Tommy supermarket only a few kilometers up the road, and plenty of restaurants and pubs serving meals nearby.

I loved my stay at Ljubo and Ana's! It was within walking distance of the truly special Plitvice Lakes National Park, and the fantastic Lička Kuća restaurant for local, tasty and affordable Croatian dishes, yet was located in a really peaceful, idyllic spot in the Croatian countryside. The room was very cosy, the hosts were lovely, and I would have liked to have stayed longer to hike and explore more of the beautiful local countryside.

The house owner was very nice, but he closed the windows when it rained and entered the house, even though he did inform us afterward. It would have been better if he had reminded us beforehand when we checked in. Another advantage of this house is that it is only a 5-minute drive from entrance 2 of the Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia, so you don't have to spend much money staying there. It’s a terrific value place.

The location of the apartment was perfect, allowing us to walk via a short trail to one of the entrances of Plitvice Lakes National Park and avoid paying for park parking. Although the outside of the building and the stairwell area showed a lot of wear, the interior of the apartment was nicely renovated and thoroughly modern. A small grocery store was just around the corner, making it easy to get breakfast and lunch items.

What an absolutely beautiful property in the heart of the Croatian countryside. A lovely warm welcome from our host with traditional plum liqueur and honey and a tour of the property. Loved the outdoor stone BBQ, hot tub and swimming in the nearby river. This property exceeded all our expectations and is conveniently located only a few kilometers away from the stunning Plitvice Lakes National Park.

All that area is fantastic. Plitvice Lakes National Park is a natural wonder. Hotel is located into the forest. It is a very quite and lovely place. Restaurant is very good. Breakfast was perfect. Good wi-fi connection. Very good facilities. It is a perfect location for a relaxing gateway and a perfect holiday spent into the beautiful nature. It is located very close to the National Park entrance.

As far as location goes, the apartment is just a 10-minute walk down a nice woodland area to Entrance 2 of Plitvice Lakes National Park. There is also a mini-market some 50 metres away and a bistro at the entrance of Mukinje village. The apartment was spotless, cosy and comfortable, and for the three friends that we were, it was just perfect! This apartment definitely comes highly recommended!

My visit to the Plitvice Lakes National Park is been, thanks to the House by the River Team hospitality and the location perfect. The Park represents the oldest and the largest national park in the Republic of Croatia, so don't miss to visit it from the House on the River and do not scare in ask for tip's and insights to the owner, a really pleasent and competent local home-made man!

It was a comfortable and convenient apartment in which it is nice to spend time with friends and family. We stayed there for 2 nights while visiting Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia. The hosts are very welcoming and hospitable people. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. Food stores and restaurants within walking distance. Will definitely come back here again.

Great location to visit Plitvice Lakes National Park. Nevenka, the owner, was really kind to us, she offered a drink at her place. You have everything you need around. Supermarket and bakery. The apartament was very clean. It was rainning and cloud when we arrived, she left the heater on, so the apartment was warm and cozy. I really recomend Apartman Nevenka.

Superb location near Plitvice Lakes National Park. Approx. 15 min. by car to entry 1. Family business, very kind staff, receptive to any request, makes you feel at home. The very quiet rural area recommended for families with children. Apartment equipped with everything you need for self catering. Small supermarket nearby. I highly recommend.

The hosts met us as we arrived and gave us the keys and a tour of the property. It was very clean, had many amenities, and included guidebooks if we needed more information for visiting Plitvice Lakes National Park. It was a short drive to some restaurants and grocery stores as well as an easy drive to Plitvice Lakes.

The whole experience. Jasmine was fantastic and very helpful. They have a small dinner menu suitable for all tastes, perfectly executed by the chef who is also the owner. They also have premium quality Croatian wines available. A quality place to stay when visiting Plitvice Lakes National Park.

It is a nice small hotel just 10 min drive from the Plitvice lakes National Park. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Our suite was spacious and well appointed. Food choice is sufficient for both dinner and breakfast. Guests benefit from a free parking and a nice outdoor swimming pool

beautiful view of Pljesevica mountain and walking distance to local stores and bakeries. best part only 15 min. drive/ away from Plitvice Lakes National Park. great hospitality and very friendly owner. very clean apartment and had kitchen with all appliances.

This, of course, was our little foursome's side-trip during our Croatia touring to visit Plitvice Lakes National Parks. The Ethno House setting felt like a romantic Alpine experience and the breakfasts (extra purchase, but really good) were an added bonus.

Prefect location to visit Plitvice Lakes National Park. We stayed there two nights, apartment is very clean and convenient. the apartment has nice bedroom with beautiful terrace and nice children park. We had great time there. Host is very friendly and helpful.

The location can’t be any closer to Plitvice Lakes National Park - a short walk down the hill and you are there. The room was comfortable but needs to be updated. The breakfast buffet was good and had a reasonable number of choices. Free parking at the hotel.

The apartment has a great location, 15 minutes walking from Plitvice Lakes National Park. It is well-equipped, with air conditioning, heater, a washing machine, a stove, a dishwasher, etc. Very comfortable, and there is a supermarket directly in front of it.

Hotel Degenjia is a short 5 minute drive to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Perfect location to explore this enchanting area including the town of Rastoke. Comfortable with helpful and engaging staff. Two very good restaurant choices on the property.
