The host provided adequate instructions for finding the property and the key - but there was an unexpected problem: a blackout, due to a strong rain. When I arrived, it was pitch dark: the street, the house, everything. I struggled searching for the house and the room and the keys, etc. - using the light from my telephone. Finally I somehow managed to enter. Electricity returned in ~3 hours, after that it was OK. Otherwise the accommodation itself, the neighborhood in the mountain and the nature around are lovely.

The eco certified, boutique Chateaux Constantin is located in Agistro village, close to the famous thermal springs. Polite staff. You can change the check-in time and receive confirmation quickly. I personally changed the check-in time three times due to unforeseen delays on the road. Breakfast included, not very varied but nutritious, well chosen. I was so pleased that I booked again for the return trip.

Everything was great, the room huge, the bed was big, I had two sofa in the room, I had posibility to make coffee or tea, small fridge, flat screen tv. The place is great for an escape retreat, verry peacefull zone.

The family-run Anestis is located in Agkistro Village of Serres, just 300 metres from the Thermal Springs and 500 metres from taverns and mini markets. Everything. Nice, quiet and green. Also the village is very nice and thermal bath are great. For us it was a good choice to stop 1 evening before our final trip back home.
