Our room looked out across Mirabello Bay, towards the mountains of east Crete. The Lato is a very welcoming hotel, with a large foyer for relaxation and enjoying drinks from the bar on the terrace outside. Breakfast can be taken on this terrace, with shade from the morning sun. Breakfast is wonderful, with a great choice, including many home-cooked items. The staff are extremely helpful and attentive. The Lato is only a few minutes walk from the delightful Ammoudi beach and the bustling centre of Agios Nikolaos.

Beautiful resort, the rooms are big and good equipped. the stuff is very friendly. We liked the pool and a beach, that are clean and not crowd. Kids club is very nice. The breakfast is good and match for both parents and kids. We stayed with our 2 years daughter, and we spent amazing time in Candia.

Food was delicious, we used the free voucher for the traditional 10 course Cretan dinner and it was the best! Unlimited drinks. The pool was stunning. Great views of the ocean! Lots of activities including dancing. Big rooms, big TV!

The hotel was amazing, the staff were polite and friendly, the facilities were plenty and very satisfactory. We got an upgrade to our standard room which was very much appreciated since we were given a very big room with huge bathroom and very big veranda overlooking the pool and the Bay. Our toodler had the chance to freely move around the room and play. The pools were excellent and the kids pool was amazing! Our kid loved the water snake and the slides very much!! The kids club is an excellent alternative for some hours in the heat of the summer. The buffet dinner at the restaurant had a huge variety with quality choices every night and although the hotel seemed pretty busy, yet it was so quiet and everything was in order.
We spent five wonderful and unforgettable days at the Elounda beach hotel. From the moment you arrive you are greeted by extremely warm and personable reception and concierge staff. The hotel has amazing landscaping and it feels like you are staying on a private island in your own world. Elounda beach has THE best location on the mirabello bay with the best views of the bay on either side of the hotel. The hotel beaches were one of the biggest attractions for us and they did not disappoint. They have 2 beaches (1 large and 1 small). We loved the small beach which was almost felt like our private beach. The water was great and refreshing and service was excellent. The rooms have amazing views and are very well equipped The hotel has 4 excellent restaurants on the property with excellent quality food and a wide variety and we never felt the need to go anywhere outside for our meals. The restaurant staff was very accommodating with tables with excellent view and great service. There was a special 3 hour Greek BBQ and song and dance night that was one of the highlights for our stay. The veghera bar which is almost in its own rock island and shaped like a ship was favorite place for drinks and cocktails. Overall the staff of the hotel is amazing and super professional and accommodating. They set very high standards and always aim to satisfy their guests Thank you to the Elounda beach staff for making our stay a memorable one.

The hotel was refurbished and it had everything renovated: from the locker of the room to the glass fence on the balcony. Looks to be a family business as we were welcomed by a very nice young family. They were very kind to us and our son as they anticipate our needs. They showed us how to better use the amenities and what to explore in the area. As the hotel was not full, they did us an upgrade of the room: same space but a refurbished one. The location is perfect, very close to the center and the seaside. There is private parking on the street that you can access using a pin code.
Everything it was spectacular!
