In a tranquil setting on the banks Loch Awe, Taychreggan Hotel offers elegant accommodation and high-quality dining. Location is wonderful, nice lake view. We spent only one night there, but the atmosphere was very friendly, dinner and breakfast were tasty, all people were friendly and room was large and comfortable.

This romantic 4-star country house hotel offers views from each bedroom. It offers a Scottish dining and local seafood in the property's restaurant with a choice of menus. The food is the best we had in Scotland up till now. The room is very pleasant with a homey feel. The staff are very friendly. We even got a box of chocolates in our room and also a special treat for our celebration. I will definitely be back. This time with my dog, since they are very welcome there.

The room had many amenities and incredibly comfortable and big bed, I loved it! A big plus for the kettle, I always appreciate when room contains it. I will definitely stay there again if ever come back to Glasgow. Good luck!

I really enjoyed my stay at Sugar Boat. The room was well-designed, spotless and the bed was super comfy. The shower was great and there were some extra features like a kettle, a selection of teas, ground coffee, and two freshly baked shortbread cookies. I had dinner at their bistro with their soup of the day (red cabbage with sour cream), accompanied by crispy and buttery sourdough bread. At breakfast, I wanted to try their porridge and it was scrumptious. The quality of each ingredient was high, portions were generous, and the price was more than reasonable. The staff were kind and easy-going. I definetely recommend Sugar Boat and hope to return soon.

Everything is awesome. The house, the location, the terrace facing the isles at sunset, the rooms, the breakfast… Hum, am I missing something ? Of course! Roger and Sally are incredible too.

The Manor House Hotel boasts a fine dining restaurant, drawing room, fully licensed bar with outdoor terrace and garden. A cooked Full Scottish and à la carte breakfast can be enjoyed at the property.... The staff is super nice! David gave us a short history lesson on Oban and was very helpful. The room was cozy and the bed comfortable. Breakfast and choice is outstanding. Parking lot in front of the house.
