Proprietor was super-friendly. Room was modern and spotlessly clean but also comfortable and quiet. We ate both dinner and breakfast at The Artisan restaurant downstairs in same building as our room. Absolutely delicious modern take on both Irish and eclectic dishes. Great bakery across the street. Easy street parking.

Just 20 minutes from Belfast centre, The Strangford Arms is a renovated Victorian hotel, offering elegant rooms and free private parking. With an award-winning restaurant, there is also free Wi-Fi. We stayed for 2 nights recently and I must say the breakfasts and service on both mornings were exceptional. The staff were very friendly and approachable. I'd booked a twin room and was delighted to find 2 big comfy double beds in our room.

Located just 45 km from SSE Arena, Roomz provides accommodation in Portaferry with access to a garden, a bar, as well as a housekeeping service. Excellent room, all facilities in top condition. Breakfast was just what we needed to set us up for the day, at just the right time. The location is ideal for the sort of trip we make, near enough to the marina (come in our own boat) and very handy for the bus stop. Between the buses, ferry to Strangford village and lough-side walks there's plenty to do for a short stay. The attached photo shows the view from our room across the narrows to Castle Ward.

Beautiful walks, aquairum, right on Strangford Lough with ferry across which allows easy access to the Mournes etc. Gorgeous scenery. Full English breakfast was lovely. Tracy from Fiddlers Green pub next door couldn't have been more helpful and friendly as were all the staff. Room was clean, bed was comfy and tea/coffee facilities provided.

A very cosy boutique hotel in a magnificent setting on shores of Strangford Lough. Woke to a fabulous crisp clear sunny morning. Staff were very welcoming & helpful. Breakfast was a big plate of Ulsters best.
