The house built in the late 1500’s retains its charm and has all the modern comforts. Breakfast offers many choices of hot and cold foods. You sit by floor to ceiling windows looking out on the spectacular gardens. The bedroom (Pear) was large and had three windows overlooking the gardens. Staff are friendly, kind, competent. Dinner came with 4-5 little extra food treats between courses. A marvellous experience!

Located in Royal Tunbridge Wells, One Warwick Park Hotel features a shared lounge, a bar and on-site dining. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. Excellent service throughout hotel. Beautiful room and very comfortable bed. Very thoughtful, they realised was a birthday and provided a gift in the room. Will return!

A Grade II Listed mansion built in 1762, Hotel du Vin Tunbridge Wells has a fine restaurant and stylish rooms. Tunbridge Wells Rail Station is a 3-minute drive away. My daughter was staying the first night on her own in order to use the space for her and her bridesmaids to get ready on the the wedding morning. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Promptly dealing with a lights fuse then bringing a jug of iced water with glasses. Supplying champagne flutes for our Prosecco and fresh milk for tea and coffee. My husband and I weren't having breakfast the next morning but went into the dining room to chat to the 'bride and groom' and were promptly offered free tea and coffee.

The Spa Hotel is an elegant country mansion just a 15-minute walk from Tunbridge Wells Rail Station. I enjoyed the gents sauna and the pool.

Overlooking Tunbridge Wells Common, The Royal Wells Hotel is a traditional hotel within walking distance of the town centre. It offers 2 restaurants, 3 bars and free parking. Great location with on-site parking out front. Our room was very clean and comfortable and a good size. The breakfast and dinners were excellent, and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

The Lookout Rye is in the centre of the historical town of Rye, high on the East Cliff with views across the river. It has free Wi-Fi and paid parking. The breakfast was superb. With continental options like toast, pastries and also a selection from main (even full English breakfast)

Located in the quaint village of Pembury, Camden Arms Hotel is just 3 miles from Royal Tunbridge Wells and surrounded by the picturesque Kent Countryside. Breakfast was amazing also the dinner menu.The staff were polite and helpful,the room was lovely and quiet.We will definitely book again if we need to be in the area.

This stay was the main part of my holiday. I was upgraded (due to an error made) and everything went smoothly after that. The morning staff was exceptionally helpful when I discovered that the trains were on strike. I had to get to Canterbury and it looked like I wasn't going to make it. I cannot express enough gratitude to the one lady in particular (blonde hair, I believe) who helped me out so much with this predicament. She was so concerned about my situation and she spent a lot of time finding me an alternative route by bus. THANK YOU!!!!!! This is the kind of staff member all hotels should have. She was caring and compassionate and figured out my problem herself. It took a huge weight off of my shoulders and I wish I could have given her a big hug. I did write to let them know I had arrived safely and they were glad to hear that and wished me well. Everything about The Mermaid Inn was spectacular. Just loved the place! The lounges were stunning. The staff at the bar was wonderful. All of the staff members at the inn were very friendly. I appreciated the tour of the cellars. Can't say enough good things about this place.
