Lovely place and even lovelier host - my husband and brother in law stayed there whilst attending some training nearby, and the host went above and beyond to make their stay as comfortable as possible. He even took them to the shopping centre and to the airport as there were no taxis around. They felt very welcomed and enjoyed their stay. The apartment and surrounding area are absolutely stunning, and we will visit them again in summer because it's just picture-perfect 🥰 definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for calm,peaceful and relaxing stay !

This property was excellent value for money, all aspects of the accommodation were excellent. For our family it was nice to have a break and be able to relax in our own environment which this enabled us to do. The hosts were so nice and welcoming too, i would definitely recommend this property to our friends and family, only wished we could have stayed longer.

Friendly but unobtrusive host. Fresh eggs from chickens and guinea fowl in mornings. Really good wifi so no problems working whilst there - coped with Teams video calls with no problem.

Housed in a historic building, Fern Dale Cottage offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi in Stockland, 30 km from Golden Cap. Guests can benefit from a patio and a picnic area. Located in the quiet heart of East Devon, this was a lovely cottage, warm, cosy and inviting. Just perfect for walking and exploring the local countryside. The cottage was well equipped and with a wood burning stove (as well as central heating) to ward off the cold weather, we had a peaceful, comfortable stay. And we are sure we will be back.
