We were welcomed with a lot of enthusiasm and caring to this beautiful country inn right on the Dordogne River. Sitting on the patio looking out over the valley was a bit of heaven! The dining room was lovely. It was a fine base to visit nearby Sarlat La Canadia and to see other ancient buildings in the Dordogne area.

The joy of staying is such a gorgeous chateau in such a remarkable and fascinating 12th Century village was wonderful but my lasting memory will be the delightful staff who showed an interest in us and took the time to interact with us even singing a special song for our 50th wedding anniversary.
