This historic building is situated just 200 metres from Santiago Cathedral, by the San Miguel dos Agros Church. The room had an amazing view to a small, quiet plaza. The room was quiet, comfortable and cozy. The design of the bathroom was clever and meant it had natural light and didn't take too much space. The enclosed balcony was beautiful and I would had spent a lot of time sitting there enjoying the view if there wasn't so much to do in Santiago. I would suggest to have a kettle in the bedroom, for an early cup of tea or coffee in the morning. I know it isn't an expectation in Spanish hotels, so not an issue.

We just finished the Camino so this hotel was a quiet comfortable location near the cathedral and old town. The host was amazing and made the entire experience perfect.

Hotel Rua Villar is situated in the historic centre of Santiago de Compostela, just 15 metres from the cathedral. The elegant rooms are decorated with dark wood and feature free Wi-Fi. It was my second time in Rua Villar, and I love the hotel. It is a beautiful setting at an excellent location just next to the cathedral. The breakfast is excellent. The hotel is very flexible in their arrangements (e.g early breakfast to leave for the camino to Finisterre).
