Located in Oranienbaum-Wörlitz, 15 km from Ferropolis - City of Steel, Zieglers Restaurant & Pension features rooms with garden views and free WiFi. Although the room was a little smaller than I had imagined, the rest of the pension was excellent. The shower was spacious and equipped with soap dispensers, the bed was comfortable and large, and there was clean water in the room upon check-in to quench a thirst. I also should mention local restaurant - the chef is a master of his craft. We had lunch and dinner with great pleasure, same as breakfast next day. Local beer is also worth noting for its excellent quality. In addition, as a bicycle tourist, I would like to mention the willingness of the staff to help us with the storage of our luggage while we visited the local Wörlitzer Park on the other day.

The sweets on the pillow were a lovely touch, met a couple of other lovely friendly guests. Opposite Wörlitz Palace and a 2-minute walk from Worlitzer See Lake, this hotel offers spa facilities, country-style cuisine and a large, shady beer garden. It is 6 km from Oranienbaum town centre. Vegan breakfast was great. And the chef surprised us with his truly excellent vegan dinners. We had not expected the originality and quality we got. A lot of effort must have gone into creating and preparing those superb dishes. Also, staff really understood us: From engaging in the kind of conversation we appreciated to recommending the perfect wine. And they were very helpful in all kinds of ways. We really felt that they wanted to do and did their best for us. There were many other positives about the hotel (including its location), but the foregoing stood out.
