Set in Altdorf, Zum Schwarzen Löwen features a terrace, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Great hotel, everything was brilliant and the staff were excellent. The breakfast was great too. A really cosy bar too.

Dating from the 18th century, Hotel Restaurant Goldener Schlüssel is located in the Old Town of Altdorf in the Canton of Uri. Lake Lucerne is a 10-minute drive away. Driving from UK to central Italy is tiring and unpredictable and the welcome was warm and even left a bed for the dog and a bowl, which saved me carrying up the one I travel with. I will certainly be back.

Located only 3 km from Lake Lucerne, Hotel Höfli is set in the oldest building of Altdorf, dating back to 1768. It features 2 restaurants and free private parking. Great location to town and only a quick drive to a few ski areas. Room was spacious and very clean. Mattresses had toppers which moved in the nignt, it was a bit weird of a bed set up but overall comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and staff was friendly. Would stay again.

I was extremely surprised by the stay at Farienstudio. I guess I didn't read the information on Booking.com as well as I should have. It is really a one bedroom apartment, with full kitchen, living room, and bath. The 'free breakfast' means that the owner has filled the refrigerator with items, and then brought me fresh baked bread, cheeses and fresh eggs. The view outside the window is simply spectacular.

The rooms are very big and amazing, and the host is very nice and helpful. The surrounding is very beautiful , we took a walk to the hill top , the views are very beautiful .
