The Lifestyle & Spa Hotel Grächerhof in Grächen near Zermatt offers Alpine-style rooms, fine cuisine and a spa area in the village centre. The Grächerhof is in the perfect location for a ski holiday in Grächen, just meters away from the gondola to take you up to the slopes it’s located in the centre of town, surrounded by views of the mountains. The food was incredible with amazing dishes and something for everyone, they do live cooking on their flambé station and I highly recommend ordering from their flambé menu we had the Duck Al orange and the Russian beef and both were amazing and it’s a show in itself to watch along with the whole restaurant the chef cook your dinner. Breakfast was also fabulous with an egg cooking station and options from fried eggs to Eggs Benedict, Royal etc you can slice your own local dried beef along with cheese selections, meat selections, cereals, tea and coffee selections, great fresh bread and so much more they focus a lot on local produce and everything is fresh unlike the usual mass produced hotel breakfasts we’ve experienced in the past, we really enjoyed it They have a lovely spa downstairs, with sauna, steam rooms, jacuzzi baths and more with juice and tea bar all included in the room rate And they have a room downstairs to store all of your ski equipment and a small playroom for children with toys and coloring etc But the highlight for us were the staff from check in where we received a free upgrade to the cleaning staff to the restaurant staff including service and kitchen Max and Jan were out superhero’s of the Restaurant and really made our evening special, everyone was so friendly, helpful and nice we really felt like part of the family We are already looking at booking our next stay at the Grächenhof in 2022 and hoping to take advantage of their special golden offer when you stay more than 4 days you get lots of extras included like ski pass, golfing and more included Thanks again to all the staff we will be back very soon!
