THE IGUACU WATERFALLS WERE AMAZING AND TOOK OUR BREATH AWAY. A MUST SEE. ALSO THE MARCO DE FRONTIER THE BORDER OF BRAZIL ARGENTINA AND PARAGUAY WITH THE RIVER PARANA AND IGUACU DIVIDING THEM WAS INTERESTING.
Walking around the island is fairly easy, though the north/south route @ Brasília and in/around there and Encantadas are poorly defined. The ferry timings (only two/day - early morning & late afternoon) mean it's best to plan to either stay at Paranaguá before/after the stay on Ilha do Mel or depart early the next day from Ilha do Mel if returning to Curitiba. Bus/ferry times for Curitiba really aren't coordinated for the ferry times at either the Paranaguá or Ponto do Sul terminals.

Paranaguá
We had a wonderful stay at Pousada Paranaguá Lodge. The hosts are incredibly warm, openminded and helpful; they welcomed us like friends, even drove us to the boat pier by car and gave us a tour of the city. Also, they answered us so many questions and gave us an insight into a Brazilian‘s life. Thank you for everything! Additionally, the breakfast was very rich and super tasty. Room was modern, well equipped and tidy.
Excellent breakfast. Helpful staff. Peaceful location with view of the River Paraná and Paraguay, from our comfortable but somewhat austere flat-style apartment room. No bedside light and the toiletries are actually dispensers with stiff pumps. Just two functioning elevators often meant waiting for sometime.
Before I was this location two years ago and I love this place so I consider to come back again
I liked the fact that this resort was located directly opposite a huge shopping mall, 15 mins from the airport( IGU) ,15 mins from the boarder of Argentina, about 25 mins to the entrance of the iguazu national park where the iguazu fall is located and two minutes walk to a taxi stand. Everything about the location of this resort was perfect. I also like that the resort itself was very neat! My room, which was situated in the new grey building, was amazing.! I was on the fifth floor room 590. I had the view of the pools, the children's water slides, the wave pool, the zip liner, and the beautiful view of the forest as well. There is a lookout point at the end of the corridor ,which is a glass partition, and that's where my room was located. Very friendly staff. I also liked the fact that the guests at this resort had access to the water park next door. There was also a zipliner on property, which cost like R70 since it was owned and operated by a company not associated with the resort The other thing that I liked about the resort ,was that , you had a choice to eat three meals at the resort at a small cost of R100 per person for lunch and dinner, had to pay for all sodas and wines, but breakfast was free. The pools were also heated up and stayed open until 8 pm. The children water area also stayed open late, but the wave pool closed at 5pm. There was also one swim up bar at the main pool ( have to pay for drinks )and another bar located near the pool, but it is not a swim up bar.( you also pay for drinks). At the time I stayed there, the resort was very quiet! Both during the day and at night. I heard no loud music or talking etc. There were not many children there either. I stayed there the last week in May, and that may have been the reason why it was very quiet. There were also a lot of sitting areas with chairs and umbrellas around the pool areas. The view of the lush green forest just added Xtra beauty to the resort.

Room is big and clean. Hair dryer and blankets provided. Strong good shower. Strong WIFI. Staffs were friendly and helpful. They provided bus information to Iguazu falls ( both Argentina and Brazil side) Breakfast was excellent. ATM machine in the lobby. Restaurants , Muffato Supermarket ( money exchange located inside) are nearby. 5 mins walk to the Bus terminal. Bus 120 to Iguazzu falls , Bird park, Airport. The bus fee was BLR5. From Airport to hotel, can take bus 120 or Uber.
Overall, it was very good experience, staff was very helpful even in questions not related to the Hotel, they have a very efficient support team.

Location was fantastic! Staff very kind and caring. Gadgets over the tables are very friendly and efective to call the waitress. Differents ambients to enjoy. A very relaxing atmosphere. Varied and plentiful food. Both good, for children and for those want to relax. Good Gym and activities to perform. Silent and beautiful place by a very big dam.
Nomaa is an amazing hotel. Boutique and full of suprises. Room's are spacious and staff is excellent. Breakfast and the food service at the hotel is a treat. A must stay when visiting Curitiba. The location is also amazing with close shopping destiantions and perfect parks for a morning run/walk or bike ride.
