The Grand Tirolia Kitzbühel hotel, Member of Hommage Luxury Hotels Collection is set in breathtaking Alpine scenery on the award-winning 18-hole championship golf course Eichenheim. The room was very spacious with a big terrace with a beautiful view of the mountains. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and the spa facilities were very nice. Just be aware that the sauna and steam room area for adults only are clothing free (towels and robes are provided) The staff was very attentive and helpful, arranging for dinner reservations and transportation to town and the ski lifts. I will highly recommend this property

Great location - 30 minutes to downtown Kitzbühel by foot, 7 minutes by bike which you can rent for free right on spot. Schwarzsee is a 5-minut walk and there is a nice walking/running path around the lake. Breakfast was excellent and based on local products. Very good dinner available, apparently favorite among the locals. Nice and roomy sauna. Great trek to Bischof (from Wildpark Aurach) recommended by the staff. But you can also walk directly from the hotel to Kirchberg, Hahnenkamm etc.

Great amount of space in 2 bedroom apartment and lovely view from balcony. Easily walkable to town centre in about 20-25 mins or by bike, note the slightly uphill location of the apartment. Short walk to Schwarzsee. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was small with a very friendly staff that went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. Food and service in restaraunt were excellent. Overall feel was warm and welcoming. Would definitely stay at Vordergrub again. On the moountain, stopping at the huts being from the USA was a great new experience. Food was great, huts were so charming and prices on the mountain were reasonable unlike USA. Rental of demo ski and locker at base of Hahnenkamm Gondola was incredibly easy.
I loved the breakfast and the pool/sauna area. The breakfast was amazing, with a huge selection of food and drinks. Also the relax area with the pool and the sauna was top level, with different types of saunas. I loved the Finnish sauna with a view on the village of Kitzbühel. I really appreciated the fact that the sauna and pool area closed late in the evening.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The decor and standards were exemplary The scenery and views were beyond amazing. The food in the restaurant was absolutely outstanding. We could not fault our stay absolutely perfect from beginning to end. We were there for the Hahnenkamm 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Scenery food help recall excellent
I was easily able to get the code to get in the main door of the property, but I did not receive communication as to which unit was mine. Nor, did I know that the main door code was the same code to be used on the unit. I ended up going unit to unit, and trying the main door code, until I found, the unit it worked on. It was about four hours later, that I received the communication, telling me which unit was mine.
Great hotel, service and flexibility. Stayed an extra night and enjoyed the hotel restaurant food.
The Pension Hinterseer was a beautiful authentic Austrian Swiss chalet. The living and dining areas were extremely comfortable and charming details like wood beamed ceiling and fireplace…lots of hygge. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. The hosts Guido and Kerstin very kind.
