We recently stayed at Burkblick and had a wonderful experience. The location of the hotel is truly stunning, with breathtaking views of the nearby mountains, village, and castle. The breakfast options were also top-notch, with a great selection of fresh and tasty foods, including plenty of fresh fruit. The hotel room was very modern, yet still in keeping with the local style, and we appreciated how clean and comfortable everything was. The bed was especially cozy and made for a great night's sleep. Finally, we have to say that the staff at the hotel were truly exceptional. They were very welcoming and friendly, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the area.

The staff is very kind, very professional, and I would especially single out Anja, Romano and Timo from the reception, Zoran from the Spa center and the younger guy from the restaurant ( during breakfast time). We are definitely coming again in January.

A particular callout to the personnel at Comodo - everyone, from the people at the reception, the bar, to the people at the restaurant, was SO AMAZING, polite, friendly, and professional. This really made a difference in the whole experience. The food was super fresh and mostly organic. Really enjoyed everything.

We were from 03.07.21-31.07.21 - everything was perfect! the owner of the hotel - she is very nice woman Claudia! Hotel full of comfortable things (relax zone, sauna, special room with washing machine) all the rooms are very clean, everywhere smells so nice from candles 🕯! The breakfast was a standard one but was was just enough. The location is excellent - within walking distance from Liechtensteinklamm and the cabin lift to Geisterberg. One could also make a few short bike tours to Salzach or St. Johann im Pongau. The hotel has it's own biotop lake and a bike storage room. My daughter especially enjoyed the free horse riding hour every day!

Great stay in Sankt Johann im Pongau. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Very clean and spacious rooms. The breakfast is delicious. There is a storage room for ski boots and skis which is great. Just a short (steep!) walk from the town center where there are plenty of restaurants, shops, bars,... We will come back again to enjoy Austria in Winter and Summer.
The rooms were small but reasonable enough, and had partial views of the mountains. Located beside a shopping center, convenient to restaurants and grocery stores, in just about the heart of the city. Breakfast was above average for Austria, and the Pongau Stube restaurant served seasonal fresh asparagus.

All was ok. The owner is very hospitable and helpful. We spend a good time in an apartment and visited many places around Altenmarkt im Pongau. There are good restaurants and pizzerias nearby. I really recommend Appartement Pichler.

The room is super spacious and we loved especially the huge wardrobe. Seating area in the room is also very nice. The hotel has nice and spacious ski and ski-boot rooms. Breakfast was really rich and good. Parking is a little tricky in the village centre, but the hotel has sorted that out neatly in the surroundings, we have always been able to park comfortably and the walk from the parking is short from all options.
The hotel breakfast was excellent, plenty of quality food, for all taste. The staff was extremely polite, always asking if everything was ok, trying to satisfy all your needs. Dinner was also outstanding food quality and presentation, with discrete fine-dinning touches. Congrats to the chef! The reception staff was also very friendly, giving us all the necessary information we needed for ours stay and they were extremely efficient on the last morning when we did the check-out. As an improvement, maybe the receptionist should state it more clearly how to get to the hotel ski room without using the main entrance in the hotel. We had to figure this out by ourselves following other tourists in the hotel, but it was fun for us to find this trick that we will use next time :)

Couldn't have asked for more. The hotel was very nice, room very spacious & clean. The staff was very nice, accommodate our needs. Nice food & drinks. The spa area is what you need it after a hike.
Everything about this location is exceptional! Starting with the staff who were extremely nice and helpful with a great spirit and joy, amenities and facilities, gourmet food, the Feuerbar which organized on the Easter week-end an amazing BBQ. Spa facilities were great and with high services and treatments. You could feel that this business is run with the love for the team, property and customers!
