Just 600 metres from the Mölltal Glacier Express, at 1,200 metres above sea level in the Hohe Tauern Mountains, Alpenhotel Badmeister offers free use of its spa area featuring a sauna, steam bath, and... Everything was perfect for us. Breakfast and dinner was excellent, stuff was really helpful if we have any question. Also the hotel placement is awesome, calm.

Set in Mallnitz, 30 km from Roman Museum Teurnia, Hotel Pension Oswald offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Very nice and helpful hotel owner. Tasty food, large portions. Meals served very quickly. Clean rooms, (cleaned every day). Good location - you can get to the ski resort in Bad Gastein by train (which also transports cars) in 20 minutes. We recommend it, we will gladly come back.

In a quiet location a 10-minute walk from the centre of Flattach, Hotel Gletschermühle offers a restaurant, a sauna, and free Wi-Fi. All rooms have a south-facing balcony overlooking the mountains. The owners and their staff were super nice and helpful. The room was spacious with roller window shades so you could have total dark :) great view from the balcony. The food was incredible, breakfast buffet with everything one needs and delicious 4 course dinner (we ordered halfboard). fast wifi

Surrounded by the Hohe Tauern National Park, Eggerhof provides rooms with free Wi-Fi in the centre of Mallnitz. All guests can make use of the wellness area with a sauna and a steam bath. There is great sauna in the hotel.

Hotel Hubertus is situated at the entrance of Hohe Tauern National Park in Mallnitz. It is located 500 metres from the centre and offers free Wi-Fi in all rooms. We travelled with a rather large group of friends, so we were assigned a separate dining room for all our meals, which was great because it meant we could enjoy ourselves without bothering the other guests too much. The hosts were very helpful. The food was good, based on traditional meals, but there were also vegetarian options and special menus for the children. The apartments were very spacious, as well as the balcony (which we did not use because it was winter, but I imagine it is wonderful during warmer seasons).
