From April until October you can go swimming in the outdoor pool set 150 metres from the property. Lovely hotel, with very friendly staff. Only stayed one night but wish we stayed for longer.

Tenuta Paltusa is located in Calangianus and features a pool with a view and garden views. There is a private entrance at the farm stay for the convenience of those who stay. The farm stay also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Spacious, modern, staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast each day was lovely. Unfortunately we had bad weather so didn’t make the most out of the pool, no fault of the hotels obviously, managed a couple dips in the mornings. Views out into the valley are stunning. Wine tasting was such a good experience even with the rain, interesting to learn about to wine and the local foods, we were well fed. Meow the cat was a funny little addition, she greeted us most mornings. Property is in a remote setting, car is a necessity.

Massidda Country retreat was truly a special place! The accommodations were beautiful and very comfortable. The grounds of the farm were very tranquil and just amazing…loved walking and exploring! Breakfast was brought to our room every morning and was plentiful. The hosts were so kind and gracious. The location allowed us to easily travel to various areas! It was a slice of paradise!

Rooms are very comfortable and very nicely designed and finished. A beautiful balcony on top of the place overlooking the area. Very rich breakfast is included with a variety of foods: cheese, meat, breads, yogurt, fruit and more. Served on a shaded porch. Located 10 minutes ride from Alghero center. Family owned. Stefano literally accepted us like family. He advised us on places, best beaches, restaurants and more. He let us use his private kitchen and barbecue for dinner one evening. We will sure recommend this place to our friends.
