The bartender Andrea is amazing and very friendly as well as his older colleague (forgot his name :(). The location is perfect with a view on the lake and private parking with electric car charging point on spot. We also used their Spa facilities which can be booked at reception for private use (the whole spa it was reserved for my boyfriend and me only). Breakfast offers high quality food and drink options and you can even make a fresh smoothie. Dinner at the hotel was beyond all expectations, everything served is super fresh and they offer a great wine selection as well. the room was spotless clean, spacious and great Wifi.

We have stayed in many places during our retirement, this has to be in our top three. This apartment had everything you could wish for and more. Our host was exceptional in every way, from arrival to leaving. We can not recommend this enough, you will not be disappointed.

Boasting a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and views of lake, Villa Sofia is a recently renovated apartment situated in Baveno, 49 km from Piazza Grande Locarno. The property was built in 1973 and has air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. It was our best apartment so far for our entire 6-week trip to Europe. The place was sparkling clean, totally comfortable in every way, great bedding, all facilities were there. When you enter you feel like a home. The host a very welcoming and helpful in anything you can imagine. Lake is near, many hiking track and other places of interests are nearby as well. Perfect for family with kids! The walk-in shower just amazing! We loved everything and will remember our stay with warm feeling for a long time. Thank you!
