Very good location, quiet and a 40 minute walk to the town along the footpath higher in the hillside or a 2 minute drive. Easy to use the apartment, it had everything we needed. It is compact but ideal for two. Access to the beach, the lake was excellent for swimming in September. The pool was refreshing, a decent size and a good start to the day.

It is a wonderful hotel on the promenade in Stresa. With the right room you can enjoy a great view of the lake. There is a lot of staff available throughout the hotel, there is a bar where you can get all the important drinks and for a small extra charge also special requests. It has the charm of an old grand hotel, now perhaps a bit kitschy but it suits the hotel. The bathing area is very neat and clean.
