Surf lessons are a lot of fun and the village tour and waterfall tour are both great. Cocktails were really good, as was the food at breakfast. The hotel seems to have a good relationship with the local people and seems to have genuinely benefitted Sumba.

Reception is all business. I booked an ocean view room. Spectacular view, sunrise was a bonus. Room spacious with a sitting area. Bed comfy. Air conditioning quiet. Shower well laid out with hot water. Swimming pool awesome. Scooter rental available.

The swimming pool is pretty and location right at the front of the beach.
Good quiet location (10min from the airport) with rice terrace views from the swimming pool. Love the cottages, spacious and clean. Parking area close to the cottages for our car. Restaurant has a simple breakfast (indonesian food and some bread/jam and fruit), staff is helpful, also provided a lunch to go. Their french fries are the best and the coffee is great!
Very spacious room. Beautiful pool, the water was warm enough to swim after sunset. Good restaurant with a lot of choice. Friendly staff with free use of driver.
Standard room is quite good. No need to book bungalow. Pool is good. Directly located on coast. Better to swim in the ocean. Juice sirsak without sugar recommended.
The beachfront, the large swimming pool, the nice bungalows... Good place to spend a couple of days with family and very close to Tambolaka Airport.
I loved the wooden cabin, the dining room & the garden. The simple food was quite delicious. The hotel was new. The swimming pool was being built.
Condition of the rooms is great, especially the bed is very comfortable, as everything seems to be brand new. Furthermore, the swimming pool looked nice, although we did not actually use it. The staff at the restaurant (during breakfast) was very friendly, and forthcoming. Additionally, WiFi works exceptionally well.
