Offering a peaceful retreat amidst natural greenery, Horas Family Home is located in Tuk Tuk area on Samosir Island. Guests enjoy a direct access to Lake Toba and free WiFi. All units come with a well-equipped kitchen and a dining area. Everything, starting from the friendly atmosphere of a family run hotel with many facilities and activities for the guests. We lived in a wonderful apartment: clean, well furnished, ample and comfortable. We did not use the kitchen facilities that were available and exploited instead the very attractive and satisfactory meal options provided by the structure itself. In a word, we have been coddled for the whole length of our stay. Should we come back to lake Toba (which we hope) this will be the first address to look for.

Manager Mr. Jae organized a car with a driver for me to see Samosir Island.
Driver Mr. Rambo was also a very good driver and a guide. He was extremely cooperative.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Super location on the lakeside with uninterrupted views. The staff were all brilliant and the owners on site super attentive. Breakfast was a pleasure whilst sitting with the pool and lake view. The surrounding area is very quiet and relaxing and there are so many outside places to eat. We took the whole day tour of the area supplied by the hotel. This was one of the highlights of our month in Indonesia and is to be recommended and gives access to areas not usually available to tourists.
We arrived very late at night but the guy waiting up for us was real helpful and got us settled in. A nice pool by the lake and breakfast in the deal. Room was comfortable, clean and basic.
Very comfortable bed and good hot shower. Delicious full breakfast. Lovely pool and beautiful grounds. Staff is so nice and friendly and helpful. The ferry drops you off at the dock. Free kayaks for a little paddling. They do laundry for a low fee and it came out perfect.
Location great! Right on Rosie, good swimming, lots of food options close and within 15min walk as well.
The resort is next to the lake. There is a swimming pool and karaoke place. The food is great and the staff are helpful. We had our meal with the lakeview. The hotel is nearby the boat jetty and the boat ride was so beautiful. They put me in a room with the lake view. Love it.

This was a great little place to stay in, had two swimming pools, was very quiet (but not at the weekend) to stay in if you did not want to head out. Great location and very romantic place at night by the lake. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast every morning had good fresh fruit, the owner even offered to get more of what we wanted if we ask. Overall we really enjoyed staying here and would recommend.
