Hotel well located. Two blocks down the main street, a coin operated laundry. Many camping/hiking supply retail shops across from hotel and near by. Nice pool area and spa services. Nice sercivecand food for breakfast.
Bowness-on-Windermere
The hotel has some of the best on-site facilities in the area, half of the rooms with hot tubs on private balconies, an on-site spa with poolside seating and a bar, stylish restaurant and cocktail bar, bike hire, wakesurfing and paddleboading. The location is amazing and the rooms were really good. Everything is good quality and I will definitely be coming here again and recommending it.
Windermere

The Quaysiders Club is located on the shore of Lake Windermere at Waterhead, which is a short walk from the village of Ambleside. Waterhead has several bars, restaurants and cafés.
The leisure spa at The Quaysiders Club has a small heated pool, a sauna and showers. There is also a barbecue area and laundry facilities available.
Everything. Friendly staff, clean room well appointed, great additional facilities.

The 5-star Beaumont House is a Victorian property featuring many original features with a tranquil location, just metres from the heart of Windermere. It offers delicious cooked breakfasts, free Wi-Fi and free private parking, less than 10 minutes' walk away from Windermere Railway Station. Breakfast was best I have had on this holiday. Managers were awesome, professional and so friendly.

There is free access to an off-site health club, located 2 miles from St John's Lodge. This provides free access to a swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and fitness classes for all guests during their stay, including on check out day. Location was great. A few mins walk to the towns. Host was friendly & welcoming The room was super clean. All we needed Bed was comfortable Breakfast was filling & lots of options

We enjoyed our stay from start to finish. We loved our room especially the powerful shower. Upon arrival we had dinner in the restaurant and headed straight to the spa. The spa has amazing facilities, we especially enjoyed the outdoor heated swimming pool. The breakfast was delicious and had on offer a wide variety of different foods. The location of the hotel was superb, it was in the town center but we felt like we really were away from everything. Overall, it was a very relaxing break-away in the Lakes.
The heated indoor swimming pool, massive rooms, amazing breakfast and so nice to be able to eat dinner there too!

The leisure facilities were good you can use the indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi during your stay. We booked an evening meal at the brassiere the food was very good.

The property is very easy to access from A66 and also conveniently situated near the Keswick town centre. It benefits from excellent views of the mountains. We requested a late check in and found out very clear instructions to get us in the property. The apartment was in a really clean state, including the outdoor swimming pool and the garden area with sit out.
Breakfast was varied and ok. Staff were very friendly and tried to be helpful and to sort out issues as much as possible. Hot tub was lovely, swimming pool was also good.
Access to the spa was nice, however you have to pre-book slots and you pay £20 per person per stay to be able to access the spa. in the spa there is a sauna, steam room, swimming pool and two hot tubs outdoors. The sauna and steam room are very overlooked so not very private or relaxing but they do the job. The outdoor hot tubs provided a nice view of the lake and did feel relaxing- when not too crowded.
