Karel, our host was awesome. This place would not be the same without him as he played many roles during our stay. From welcoming us as we got there, to showing us to our room, to cooking the meat in the boma, to being our guide on the game drives and in general just being an amazing fountain of knowledge was what made our stay memorable. We had some EPIC game drives, seeing Elephant, Rhino, Lions, Cheetahs, a Caracal and many more. Witnessing a Wildebeest calf taking its first steps after being born just minutes ago to small things like hearing birds going crazy and seeing the snake they were chasing off. Karel takes ownership of every aspect of your stay and excels at it. The food was great and the bed comfortable, so nothing to complain about. I loved the outside shower. The other staff were friendly and attentive.

We cannot recommend Kgorogoro lodge enough - beautiful location, large rooms, even larger living area, the BEST staff and ranger. We travelled as a group of 7 adults and 5 kids (8months - 4.5 years) and it was perfect! The photo's on the advert do not do the accommodation justice at all.

Everything’s gorgeous, amazing, wonderful… it was such an amazing experience to stay in lodge. I am very upset to stay a 1 night. All the members were friendly. They made us feel like we stay at home. All the meals are exceptionally delicious. It was well selected menus and we enjoyed experience it a lot. Safari experience was something else. Everything was perfect!! Probably the best hotel experience we ever had! Perfect welcoming, extremely friendly staff (without being too much), beautiful outside areas with amazing atmosphere created with oil lamps and candles, great experience on the fire pit over a drink and a great chat upon arrival from game drive, spotless pool area. Loved the “mi casa, tu casa” concept where we could help ourselves to the open bar. The sleeping room was beautiful and spotless clean. The food was amazing and the chefs really friendly, the high teas phenomenal…… we could go on and on and on about Tambuti. Go do yourselves a favour a book this lodge!
