The location was good and there were a lot of tours. Muzu, our tour guide was excellent. He was very friendly and gave us a lot of information. We did the Lesotho and the tugela falls with him and cannot but recommend him as a guide. The hostel had good food and the facilities were good.

Everything. It was lovely. There was a once-in-a-generation snowfall which caused chaos but the staff were absolutely incredible in dealing with it and looking after everyone. The food was exceptional. The rooms are big and comfortable and the shower is great. The views are magnificent. There are lots of hiking options as well as guided hikes and trail runs. Horse riding too! Such a beautiful place. The bathroom even has underfloor heating :) Also - good coffee provided in the rooms. Highly recommend Montusi.

The resort as a whole is very nice. Caters for kids. It is evident that effort is being made to revamp and increase the experience. The rooms were cleaned up and daily. Pleasant staff. My only gripe was dinner at the restaurant. The pizza was amazing and food was good. The food order came in pieces, my daughters pizza took longer then our food. It felt like we were forgotten.
Other then that everything else was really good and we will be back.

This is a backpackers lodge, so don't expect a luxury hotel. The common areas (bar, dining room, swimming pool) are well maintained with lots of plants and comfortable furniture that suits the purpose. The decor is a bit eclectic but well executed, and it gives a lot to investigate. The photos on the internet is a true representation of what we found.
