We only stayed one short night, and it was perfect.
Adriaan cooked for us at night: a simple but very enjoyable meal, reminding me of my (grand)mothers cooking back in Belgium when I was a child. I appreciated the decoration (old maps and images) and the filled bookcases in the main buildin/room, and particularly liked the bar which was decorated with souvenirs which Adriaan brought from his time in Germany (but which we sadly did not have the possibility to enjoy with a beer).

The location was really ideal on our way to Kruger. The hosts were amazingly friendly, communicative, and keen to help us have our best stay. The house is next to the hosts, within a beautiful and relaxing garden, with an outdoor deck space and a small pool. The accommodation was perfectly clean and cozy, with everything we needed and some delicious complimentary cupcakes. We ordered a pizza from the hosts for dinner one night and this was super delicious we loved it. Overall it could not have been a better stay!
The place was well located with lovely views. It was one of the cheaper places. We usually don't like tvs, so we thought that was why it was cheap, since there was no tv and wifi only outside by the pool.
The swimming pool was amazing! The room had everything I needed, including complimentary water bottles in the fridge, aircon, and the most spectacular view!
We loved the hospitality and friendliness of the staff as well the pool and our kids enjoyed the childrens play area. We also enjoyed the breakfast and the various outdoor sitting areas.
The hospitality we received from the host was fantastic. He came and met us at the parking lot and gave us a little tour so that we know where everything is. The host even gave me friend some sewing needle and thread to help her fix her dress which was nice. The pool is lovely. Pity it was too cold to swim. Our room was really really clean and spacious. Very nice. And lastly the view from our room was awesome
