I was at Horta da Vila during a very hot weekend. It was great being by the pool and the room A/C worked great. It was a lovely stay and the staff was awesome and very accomodating.

Lovely location to have a relaxing vacations with all the amenities one requires. Although it's a very hot area in Portugal, the house was fully equipped with several Air Conditioners which were super necessary. The hostess always left us at ease and super helpful with every detail.

‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
The hosts were so very friendly and the location just outside the town was perfect. It was quiet and secluded. Building was wonderfully cool during the exceptionally hot days. Big enough for our needs. Pool and bbq area was set to the side of the villa these were used a lot. Added bonus of a resident dog and cat who both welcomed us home every day.
The highlight of our first visit to Portugal so far. Outstanding setting with peaceful sheep grazing outside the kitchen door, a friendly and well mannered cat, thoughtful and interesting hosts, a charming groundskeeper, and delightful beds. We enjoyed fantastic dinners cooked in the well apportioned kitchen, and coffees on the sunny veranda in the morning, cooling our toes at poolside. Outstanding in every way.
Brilliant place for a relaxing getaway from the city and a great holiday. The whole property was amazing. Having a big outdoor area with grass to play games, the big pool, the barbecue area and the outdoor seating area gave us so much to do in the week. Being able to bring our dog and meeting Daisy, the resident dog, made the whole experience so much nicer as a family. Highly recommend and we will definitely will return!
The entire experience was wonderful. If you truly love nature this is the perfect place. The house has everything you need, the pool area and the exterior surroundings are stunning and the hosts are extremely nice. We fully recommend, particularly for families with kids.
