The Casa was slightly difficult to find, but once there we weren't disappointed: a family home that's been converted into a clean, comfortable hotel by the owners. Definitely one for dog lovers - there are puppies due imminently! Our room was comfortable, cool and calm - with a bamboo theme giving it a feel of being on safari. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
Everything was great! It's the perfect place to take some time away and relax. You know it's a good place when they invest in quality equipment such as the Costa Nova cutlery and the traditional Portuguese benches. The natural swimming pool is cold, but it's great to dip your feet on natural stream water. We went during the week and were lucky to have such a huge place just for ourselves!
