The proactive care taken by the staff at Explora to organise a smooth arrival and departure, as well as the constant check-in and courtesy, the beauty of the site, the comfort of the beds, the sate room to details and room set up for the night, the spa (perfect to relax after a day adventuring), the experiences offered, the books about Peru in the lounge area, the awesome guide. The food!! All was fantastic!

‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
The hosts are lovely. The view from the rooms is stunning. Breakfast (included) and dinner (whoever orders) are excellent. There is a hot tub in the evening where you can relax after a day of sightseeing. The hosts do everything to make the guests happy. One trip to Pisac is included in the price. Returning by taxi towards the evening costs 20-25 Sol.
It is right in the centre of town. My room was very spacious. There was plenty of room to store my stuff. The bed was very comfy. I liked it had a bedside light. The bathroom was clean with new towel daily. The room was cleaned everyday. The breakfast was very good. Fruit, juice, eggs, rolls, butter and jam with tea or coffee. There was an outdoor sitting room. The owner was very friendly and helpful. It was very quiet at night. The whole place was very clean and tidy.
Ivan is an interesting and nice person to have good conversation with. The location of the hostel is a bit out of the town but you have a beautiful view, a big living room and a small pool to chill.
By far the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Incredible view, very cool vibe, amazing pool and chill out area, lovely home cooked food, very welcoming and the perfect place to relax and enjoy Pisac. I was meant to stay for 2 nights and expended my stay to over a week, I would highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
I had such a perfect time in Pisac und the wolf totem hostel. the location is awesome, my room was exceptionally nice, the Pool is amazing and the food was super delicious! You immediately feel comfortable. The one who sets everything up here is Ivan. super friendly, uncomplicated and funny. We and others from the hostel had fun evenings :) thanks a lot!
Relaxing hostel with a great view. The lobby and common areas are very cute and relaxing. It is a comfortable, safe and power place with cute kittens and dogs. There is also a swimming pool. They have a pizza oven here and the pizza is very good! You must try it. And don't forget to order the pisco sour. Very tasty!
Ivan was a great host and built a special place. Beds where long and wide, which was nice!
There was a pool with a great view and even a sauna! This was really awesome after a long hike.
This place is awesome!! Made a friend for life here. The community areas are awesome for hanging out. Met many awesome folks. I’ll be back for sure. Some tips: bring a warm coat, it’s in the mountains—not a poncho, follow the rules—makes it better for everyone, and the pool is incredible too—so bring your swim trunks. Thanks Ivan for creating this place.
