Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
Relaxed vibe, excellent location with spectacular views of the fjord, super friendly and helpful staff. They recommended hiking paths suitable for our dog with the shortest legs. We had such a nice time in Balestrand, and the weather permitted a swim in the fjord. The coffee+croissant breakfast was just what we needed.
Quirky and clean, the room was simple but just what we needed. The rest of the hotel rooms were full of eclectic furniture and quite fascinating. There is a lovely outdoor patio looking out to sea. The staff were excellent and very kind and attentive.
Amazingly beautiful location. Staff was very friendly. View from the room was unbeatable. Enjoyed rental of the hotels paddleboards. Nice bar with outdoor seating. Perfect location to walk everywhere. Excellent hiking trails nearby.
We all LOVED our stay here! We are still talking about the warm croissants in the morning. The sauna and swimming in the fjord were the highlight of our trip. The staff was super friendly too!

Location, location, location. Beautiful view right outside your window with a small balcony for reading.
Jumping into the fjord from the stone steps in front of the property. Simply beautiful view while floating on my back. There is also a sauna that can be rented through a separate company via a website.
Bring a good book and be prepared to slow down and breathe.
Staff were very helpful, we had fridge food they kept it for us.
Lots of board games to play and a pool table
No breakfast included but free coffee and croissants in the morning.
