It's nice but for the price we were paying we expected a different level of accommodation.
Hotel Ravesi is surrounded by green gardens, and is just 500 metres from the beach in Salina Island. Its beautifully furnished rooms offer panoramic sea or garden views and free internet.

This is such an incredible hotel! The rooms and facilities are beautiful and the staff are so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, were full of great tips about the island and responded quickly to every question. The breakfasts in the morning were so lovely and delicious. Highly recommend you stay here!
‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
Hotel Mamma Santina is a beautiful stay not to be missed when you visit the Aeolian Islands.
It was in my top 3 stays during my 3 week Sicilian holiday. Pure bliss..from the warm welcome, the stunning pool, the personal hammock on my own balcony (fabulous to unwind in)..to the delicious food in their restaurant, where the head chef (also the owner) personally takes your order..it really was a place of dreams where you can totally chill out and feel so very welcome.
Beautiful location and grounds. We could see Stromboli from our terrace and the swimming pool was just below us. Breakfast was a lovely selection of fruit and various sweet pastries. Manuela was a brilliant host, driving us from the port to her home (it's a steep walk with a suitcase), and available if needed. It was incredibly peaceful - a little bit of paradise.
Self-contained en-suite room in garden was very clean, quiet and private with its own patio near the swimming pool. Breakfast was good and served at main house. Hostess spoke limited English and was friendly and helpful. She provided an early breakfast to enable us to get to early ferry.
Amazing stay at this thoughtfully appointed property just minutes from the port. Loved the position, with generous views of Lipari, Panarea, Stromboli AND Etna. Loved all the staff’s attention and friendliness and numerous suggestions and hints for restos and activities. Loved my sundown Negroni at the eagle’s nest bar, and homemade breakfast there. Loved the communal sun terrace and the private outdoor and indoor space, comfortable bed, lovely linens. Everything super clean. Great wifi. Good quality/price balance.
Very kind, knowledgeable personnel that helps you with any questions and wishes you may have. In particular, they suggested nice tours around the island, both on land and by boat. All around the property one finds a lot of attention to beautiful details, from the tiled floors and walls (in our beautiful room, with hammock on the terrace), the gardens to the swimming pool. The restaurant is excellent with a great view, and in particular the breakfast.
The location is stunning and so the properties. We had an marvellous view of the sea. The access to a fridge and to plates/glasses etc made it possible to dine on the terrace overlooking the sea, best view on the Island!
The swimming pool is fabulous and a real oasis when needed to cool down among beautiful trees.
Barbara, the governess, bakes a fresh cake every morning and serves it for breakfast alongside delicious local fruit and more.
We had an absolutely wonderful time!
Hotel was really nice, decor was lovely Sicilian style, swimming pool was an added bonus. Breakfast was delicious. The main positive of our stay was the staff. They were so helpful and went the extra mile to answer our queries, sorted out an extra night’s stay for us last when our flight got cancelled, and were very friendly - would recommend to anyone to stay here!
