These hotels offer a great way to get some exercise without having to hit the gym on your vacation. Indoor pools let you practice your backstroke come rain or shine, while outdoor options are perfect for relaxing in the sun after swimming a few laps.
Breakfast, room and staff - all very good. It's a 4 star not a 5 star so beyond food and lodging there is nothing to actually do at the hotel. (e.g. spa, pool etc) - it would benefit from those but perhaps there is no room to expand their offerings.
Excellently situated on the outskirts of town. Very easy to walk to the town centre. Quiet and peaceful location. Outdoor roofed patio area is a nice touch. Great facilities, has all you need. Would definitely stay again. Nice touch was the hamper which the host left for us. Let’s just say the Sauvignon went down a treat haha.
very friendly staff especially in the cafe area. loved the outdoor eating facilities. food was excellent with generous portions staff were very attentive at dinner service.
Loved the 2 kingsize beds and the room was so clean immaculate and everything that you would need in the room also loved the outdoor seating to be able to relax x
Hartley House is a charming property set in the tranquil Leitrim countryside a stones throw from the River Shannon. Kate warmly greeted us on arrival and provided refreshments in the form of hot drinks and apple pie with ice cream! Kate was a fountain of information, a great craic and certainly the hostess with the mostest! We had an excellent nights sleep in a comfortable room, with nice touches e.g. fresh fruit. The breakfast in short, was superb!
An ideal place to relax from the noise of big cities with your family. Quiet and calm. Nice and clean house. The hosts Ann and Frank such are lovely, friendly and helpful people. We really enjoyed our stay. A very picturesque waterfall closed nearby. Definitely want to return.
