Couldn't have asked for more. Would highly recommend we had an amazing family holiday. Supermarket next door too which was very handy! We stayed 2 weeks from the beginning of August. From the first days until the last everything was perfect. The owner Ritsa was a great host and always quick to reply to any question we had. The property is beautiful, spacious, and situated in a quiet place within walking distance to a pretty village where you can explore the artisan shops and pickup groceries, and visit the many tavernas. The pool is great, and it’s cleaned regularly. The house has a washing machine, and fully equipped kitchen. There is an outside barbecue area which is handy. It was our third time in Crete and we’ve always stayed in lovely places, but Margaritas has won a special place in our hearts. All the people we met in the village were very friendly and welcoming. If you decide to visit we strongly recommend Taverna Giannousakis (it’s not easily found on the map) Eleni and her grandson Dionysus will serve you the best and most genuine Greek specialities (and we’ve tried most of the Tavernas here so this is a very strong recommendation). The local coffee shop (sweet Margarites) is a lovely stop for breakfast or any refreshment and have very friendly owners.
