The property is perfectly placed to explore the countryside, the wines (especially in La Liviniere) and the interesting history of the Minervois. Short, easy journeys were possible to Minerve, Carcassonne, Caunes Minervois and Lastours. The property is on the edge of the village which has a boulangerie, a pharmacy and a couple of restaurants as well as a few wineries; all easy to walk to. Many interesting walks in the area. As a couple the property was very spacious with good car parking. The swimming pool was superb. The gite was very clean and Jerome was a friendly but unobtrusive host. It is a good gite and offered at a very generous price.

The owner, John, is so kind. Always quick to respond to our messages, always quick to help us with any issues we had. The apartment is wonderful. It has a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven,... The rooms are spacious. There is a mistake on the booking site though, one room has 1 single bed and a bunk bed; the other room has one double bed. Good WiFi, air-conditioning in every room! Shared pool and game room.

We enjoyed our stay. It was possible to park the car around the corner. The studio looked really beautiful, also nice that the old details of the stable can still be found. The bed slept wonderfully. Very well presented and clean house with lovely host (Alexei). Our room was very comfortable, and the village very beautiful. Alexei told us they have facilities for bike cleaning and storage so it would be a great base for cycle touring in the area. There’s a small pool and outdoor area… too cold in March for a dip though! The area around Cesserras is stunning… gorges, vineyards, ancient villages full of history. We will definitely return one day.
