The Château is beautiful, including the decoration and those gorgeous halls, you are free to visit anywhere inside, and with the good weather like we had, such a Château is magnificent in the sun. It’s really worth going all the way to a hesitate and enjoying the fairy tale experience.
Especially we loved the lady at the front desk, she brightened up our trip and gave us the feeling of being a friend. Her name is Rose.

On arrival we were met by a lovely Border Collie who sat at the head of the drive and literally guided round the building into a free car parking space. This is quiet, peaceful secluded property set in the centre of an interesting small town. Excellent facilities, scrupulously clean and somewhere one could immediately relax. Our host was welcoming and helpful offering a welcome drink and advice on where to eat that evening. Breakfast the following morning was excellent; fresh fruit, home made jams, excellent coffee and of course a cheerful good morning greeting.

The property is beautifully decorated, eco-friendly and in a lovely setting, and the heated swimming pool was much appreciated after our long drive. The host was super friendly and helpful, even checking our dinner reservation for us and securing us a bonus aperitif at the restaurant! The bed was comfortable and the environment very quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, including lots of regional and home-made products.
The place is beautiful and quiet. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool and using the rowing boat by the river.
The staff was always incredibly nice and went out of their way to help.
