Excellent far exceeded expectations. Cartouniers is in a beautiful setting and the rooms were perfect. Had the most comfortable nights sleep. Geraldine couldn’t have been more helpful/friendly. Would definitely recommend this place (although would also like to keep it secret so there’s always place to stay when I need it!). Thank you for making us feel so comfortable.

We had an exceptionally friendly and accommodating welcome from our host, despite booking with very little notice. Nothing was too much trouble and our every need was catered for. The chateau has been tastefully and eclectically renovated to provide very comfortable accommodation. So nice to be able to sleep with windows open thanks to custom built insect screens. Nice bed linen. Good wifi connection. We had a delicious home cooked evening meal with nice wine and lovely fresh croissants for breakfast.

It was a great experience to stay in the beautiful 300 years old house with very high ceilings. Our hosts were marvelous. With patience and kindness it was possible to communicate in spite of our poor French skills. They did what they possibly could to give us a great stay.

Attentive friendly hosts, rooms clean and tastefully furnished. The charcuterie lunch was magnificent. Rural location, quiet open feel, the stars at night were amazing as was the pool nestled amongst the farm fields and ruins.
Very nice breakfast. Different pastries with homemade strawberry jam, apricot jam, bread and meats.
Hosts were really lovely, with nothing too much trouble.
