Looking for a hotel with pools?

‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.

Absolutely beautiful facility. The staff was so kind and the food was delicious. The hotel connected us to Mr. Wilfred for a boat and hiking tour. Do not miss this. Mr. Wilfred is also wonderful and kind and even helped us get our flat tire fixed (we had been driving on a spare upon arrival and he found someone to take the tire to town and fix while we were on the tour.). The pools were gorgeous and fun to swim in all of them.

We are a visibly queer and trans couple and the staff was very friendly and unobtrusive. Beautiful views. Access to the natural pools is beautiful, nobody there during the weekdays. Hiking with the hotel's tour guide was great.

The location, in the middle of the jungle, is super. It is right next to the paraiso alto hondo. You are allowed to use their pools, which look lovely, with, cascades, smaller and bigger basins, fountains etc. Altos de cano hondo is much quieter, and that is a big plus. Room are beautifully decorated, and have good beds, mine came also with a hammock and a small private terrace. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Highly recommended to stay here!

The National Park entrance is a 15 min walk (or they give you a ride). The tour guide, Wilfre, is so fun and knowledgeable! We had an intimate tour for about 60% of the price of the 40 person catamaran tours that come in from nearby towns. We kayaked in the mangroves and to the lime islands and saw many birds up close (highly recommend). Came back in the afternoon to enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural pools with waterfalls. Paradise!

Excellent retreat in an extraordinary eco-hotel. Beautiful views from above, great swimming in almost-natural pools and cascades in the sister-hotel below. Friendly staff, tasty meals, possibility oftours in the natural park.

Beautiful location with fantastic surroundings and views. Staff was helpful and the natural pools were really good for some downtime. The tour guide was very helpful, nice and entertaining. Also, it was a good idea to have a fire at night.

The place is amazing, especially the view and natural pools. The rooms are very simple, but clean. There is no air-conditioning, so you have to be prepared that it will be hot and humid all day long. But for the views, peace and quiet evening it is worth. And you are almost at the entrance to the Los Haitises National Park. We recommend to go for a trip with Wilfred- great guide, that will bring you hiking in the rain forest or go with you kayaking.
