The manager is awfully unfriendly and rude, he makes it really uncomfortable and seriously takes away from the potential of this hidden gem. The actual layout is spectacular, the hotel is charming, with great, simple food, and excellent service staff.

‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.
I like the hotel's restaurant. It has a nice rustic feel and a respectable selection of food and drink.
The hotel's location is also good. It's on a quiet residential street and the city's outdoor public swimming pool is right next door so you can go for a swim when the weather is nice.
The reception/lobby is quite nice and you can buy a bottle of locally produced wine to try.

Self-check in online surprised us a bit, but it went smoothly and without any problems. You can use the swimming pool, although the water in it is very cold. The area is quiet and peaceful, despite the fact that the facility is located right next to the border crossing. The room is fine. Very tasty breakfast.
There is also a restaurant on site, open until 10pm, but we didn't use it.
The hosts were super friendly, helpful and responsive, provided everything we needed (even fulfilled ad hoc wishes), and prepared delicious breakfast :) Definitely a place to come back in spring/summer to enjoy the spacious, quiet garden with pool!
Very nice and quite large family room, full of light, with a terrace and a big bathroom. Very good every day cleaning. Exceptional breakfast, great coffee, they always patiently helped us with info about allergens.

The outdoor municipal swimming pool is walking distance from the pension, so that's very convenient if your visit is in summer, which can get very hot in this part of the country, and you're looking for something a bit more than the pension's small pool can provide.
