I stayed here years ago and made sure I came back. Mind you, it is an old plantation house, so there are features of the property that are older (doors and windows, etc). It's heavy to think of the history here. That being said, the staff is always kind and attentive. I enjoyed talking with Sharlee and everyone else who welcomed me. The location is perfect for exploring all the beaches on the west side of the island, the more quiet roads, Shete Boka- a must visit experience, and Mount Christoffel and Park- which if you hike to the top, you are rewarded with incredible views of the entire island. The views from the outside spaces on the hotel property are fantastic since it sits up on a hill. Restaurant is good-some people come just to eat, if that tells you how good the food is here. You'll have singing birds and curious iguanas to keep you company. The dogs in the surrounding neighborhoods like to call to each other at night, kinda relaxing. Plenty of parking, beach towels available, and an amazing breeze to cool you off as you enjoy the views.

Rented the Moringa apartment for 13 nights which has lots of space for two people. Unit was very clean. Bed was quite comfortable but pillows were pretty awful and should be replaced. Garden was gorgeous and peaceful and offers a lot of privacy. Neighborhood is mostly quiet, but for the guard dogs on the property and next door. Location was great to access our preferred Sabana Westpunt beaches and some decent restaurants. Well equipped kitchen was only missing a good knife or two.

We booked into FonteinTop for 5 days as part of our honeymoon. This was location 2of3 during our honeymoon vacation period. The level of service we received was admirable. From the communication with Math, the host before we left the UK, to checking in on the day and checking out. Nothing was too much trouble and Math was always on the end of the phone to answer any questions that we had. Math and his wife went above and beyond in making us feel welcome upon meeting them during checking in. The attentiveness in making sure that we celebrated our honeymoon, and the lovely gestures i.e. bottle of bubbly, heart petals on our bed, the message cards, the box of chocolates, and the personal touches were not forgotten and will forever be in our memories. Thank you both for such a pleasurable stay, in such a unique setting, as is FonteinTop. The villa was clean, comfortable, had 360' panoramic views, and a swimming pool big enough to laze around in. We plan to come back to Curacao one day and we will definitely love to come and stay at FonteinTop in the future.
